Solution Designer Infrastructure

For a client, we are seeking a Solution Designer Infrastructure to join their Infrastructure Projects team. This role is set to commence on January 1, 2025, and will conclude on January 1, 2027.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the infrastructure architect, system designers, system engineers, and security officers to define infrastructure design within a project context.
• Provide technical expertise and experience on IT and OT infrastructure.
• Support system engineers with troubleshooting during incidents and conduct root-cause analysis post-incident.
• Propose evolutionary changes to improve systems.

Qualifications:

• Senior-level experience (10+ years) with IT infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience with OT infrastructure projects.

Skills:

• Must have proven experience with virtual networking (NSXT).
• Must have proven experience with virtualization (VMWare ESXI).
• Should have experience with modeling (TOGAF, Archimate, UML, Sparx EA...).

Language Proficiency:

• Must be fluent in either French or Dutch and have a good knowledge of the other language.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and oral.

This role offers a blend of remote and on-site work in Brussels.
