For a client we are seeking a Property/Plant/Equipment Senior Accounting & Reporting Officer to join our team on a temporary basis from 01/01/2025 to 31/05/2025. This role will require the candidate to work 50% on-site and 50% from home, with full-time on-site work expected during project delivery and/or onboarding periods.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the end-to-end project with key stakeholders (Tax, Procurement, Legal, Group, etc.) for the integration of 2 PPE entities.
• Prepare, analyze, steer, and set up the correct integration of the PPE into the balance sheet.
• Integrate IFRS and BGAAP into the PPE accounting processes.
• Establish the correct VAT treatment of the costs related to the PPE.
• Initiate a study on SAP AA for the BeBra.
• Ensure proper follow-up of the Budget and Forecasts.
• Provide training and assistance on PPE treatment to users.
• Assist in ensuring data quality, both structured and narrative.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in PPE accounting and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Bgaap regarding PPE.
• Experience in the PPE accounting & reporting chain of a services company, preferably in banking.

Technical Experience:

• Mandatory: Strong MS Office skills and/or other reporting tools, strong project management skills, and data-crunching abilities.
• Preferable: Knowledge of SAP R3 AA/RE, internal control and audit notions, and familiarity with change management methodologies.

Business Experience:

• Mandatory: Control-minded with a strong understanding of organizational and business strategy.
• Preferable: Audit experience and insight into organizational/industrial psychology.
