For a client, we are seeking a Business Analyst with a focus on transforming user journeys into detailed requirements. This role will act as a product owner within the team and requires a professional who is adept at working with business stakeholders to define and document their needs.

Duration: 6 months+
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate user journeys into requirements, scenarios, user stories, etc.
• Serve as a product owner within the team, managing expectations and prioritizing backlog items.
• Engage with various stakeholders to build relationships and manage project expectations.
• Conduct requirements gathering, ensuring business needs are accurately documented.
• Perform analytical thinking to assess data and identify trends or gaps.
• Create workflows, diagrams, and process models for process mapping.
• Communicate technical details effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate problems critically from multiple perspectives to derive better outcomes.
• Develop clear and concise business requirements and functional specifications documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Confluence, or requirements management software.
• Experience in creating and maintaining documentation for business requirements and functional specifications.

Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering.
• Expertise in process mapping and analytical thinking.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and shifting priorities.

Work Location:

The role can be performed fully remotely, with the ability to travel to Brussels ideally at least once per month.

Language Proficiency:

Fluency in English is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
