For a client we are seeking a Business Analyst/Functional Analyst:

Start Date: 01/01/2025
End Date: 30/06/2026

Responsibilities:

• Identify and understand business/client needs, challenge them when necessary, and assist in reflecting on the needs concerning the fit with the tool and tooling strategy.
• Validate collected requirements using mock-ups and visuals.
• Define and analyze the business model using modeling techniques and methods such as Visio and UML diagrams.
• Understand end-to-end processes and data flow, analyze and document new processes and data models.
• Translate business/client needs into requirements for Service Now solution development.
• Formalize and document requirements and functional analysis to guide developers.
• Liaise with other contributors as needed.
• Prepare and participate in end-to-end testing of new functionalities, reporting on progress, defects, risks.
• Assist businesses in onboarding new solutions by mapping needs with delivered functionalities.
• Act as an interface between stakeholders and communicate fluently in both oral and written forms.
• Identify, communicate, and manage constraints, impediments, risks, and issues to maintain quality delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in a Business and Functional Analyst role.
• Experience with conceptual modeling techniques and methods (UML, Visio, mock-ups).
• Proficiency in MS Office and a good understanding of IS and testing.
• Functional analysis and understanding of technical functionalities.
• Understanding of code (Visual Basic, Python, SQL) is preferable.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Service Now is highly preferable.
• Excellent analytical skills and customer-centric approach.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.

Language Proficiency:

Strong written and spoken communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
