For a client we are seeking a SAS DI Standard Developer & Data Scientist

We are seeking a skilled SAS Data Integration Developer to contribute to a dynamic data project, focusing on designing and implementing robust ETL processes and ensuring high-quality data delivery to support decision-making and performance management.
Responsibilities:
- Design technical solutions based on functional specifications provided by the analysis team.
- Develop routines using SAS Data Integration Studio and chaining scripts to transfer data from source systems to the Data Warehouse (DWH).
- Create and manage ETL packages for data processing.
- Perform testing of ETL routines and integration processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with BI analysts to ensure that the ETL process results align with technical specifications.
- Document technical solutions and adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards.
- Develop and maintain procedures for data processing and management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in SAS Data Integration Studio.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience in creating, testing, and optimizing ETL routines and scripts.
- Ability to design technical solutions based on functional and business requirements.
- Strong documentation skills, including familiarity with SDLC processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication abilities.
Specific Skills Required:
- Proven experience with Exadata (Must have)
- Proven experience with Oracle (2 years, Must have)
- Proven experience with Python (2 years, Must have)
- Proven experience with SAS Data Integration Studio (2 years, Must have)
- Proven experience with VTOM (Must have)
- Proven experience with another ETL tool than SAS DI (Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, etc.) (Should have)
- Proven experience with SAS Viya (Should have)
Sector Knowledge:
Master degree (Should have)
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in French or Dutch with at least a passive knowledge of the other language (B1) (Must have)
- Fluent in English (Should have)
This is a full-time, hybrid working opportunity with 3 days per week of onsite work.
