For a client we are seeking a Product Owner.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 1 year
Work Location: Brussel (remote work permitted up to 3 days per week)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Transformation Manager to define and manage the digital product roadmap.
• Evaluate and prioritize high-level requirements and features, considering business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for project success evaluation and future initiative prioritization.
• Own the product backlog, ensuring User Stories are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with stakeholder requirements and overarching goals.
• Lead discovery and co-creation workshops with stakeholders to capture complex business requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
• Work closely with Business Analysts to refine and document requirements for development teams.
• Partner with the Scrum Master, Business Analysts, IT architects, and external consultants to ensure successful product delivery within an agile framework.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to align team efforts with business goals.
• Define and oversee test scenarios and acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with IT architects to ensure solution models and architectures meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Act as a bridge between technical and business teams, facilitating knowledge sharing across projects.
• Provide expertise, guidance, and support for ongoing maintenance and feature updates of digital products.
• Support stakeholders in data analysis and operational documentation for new and legacy features.

Qualifications:

• Degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Odoo.
• 3+ years in product ownership or project management in agile environments, specifically within larger IT projects.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with experience in translating complex requirements into functional specifications.
• Effective communication at all levels.
• Practical experience with agile methodologies, Product Owner certification preferred.
• Scrum Master experience is a plus.

Language Proficiency:

• Proficiency in English and French required; knowledge of Dutch is a significant plus.
