For a client, we are seeking a Senior DEV Engineer with a strong background in Java development and a keen analytical mindset.

End Date: 30/11/2025

Work Location: Brussel

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and advice on client or back-end side development and best practices.
• Analyze and develop document generation systems.
• Collaborate with Application Lead developers and Application consultants/integrators to manage project feedback and assess new component candidates.
• Write comprehensive analysis and user guides.
• Offer support and advice on topics related to document generation.
• Actively participate in the testing phase of development.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• University degree or Master's degree, preferably in IT.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills and broad knowledge of Java, Spring, OO, REST, SOA, Selenium, etc.
• Experience with cloud environments and continuous learning to stay updated with technical developments.
• Familiarity with Continuous Delivery principles and DevOps team collaboration.
• Understanding of Operating Systems (Unix, Windows, etc.) and Middleware software configuration.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with integration using different technologies (distributed/mainframe) and infrastructure components.
• Good understanding of banking and the ability to translate features and stories into software with real business value.
• Agile/Scrum experience and the ability to refine and plan with teams and Product Owners.
• Capacity to work in large organizations with multiple stakeholders.

Language Proficiency:

• Dutch knowledge is an asset.
• French knowledge is an asset.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
