For a client, we are seeking a Solution Architect - Compliance & Finance with a focus on Risk and Compliance Applications to join the Solutions Architecture team within the Software Engineering Tribe. This role is pivotal in defining the target architecture and designing end-to-end solutions across various domains, with an emphasis on Risk and Compliance.

Duration: 6 to 12 months
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of transversal IT initiatives as a Solution Architect, ensuring end-to-end architecture solutions meet functional, non-functional, security, and resilience requirements.
- Collaborate with requirement owners, domain architects, and IT engineers/application experts to design fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Research and evaluate application packages, staying informed on market evolutions to bring innovative solutions.
- Serve as a bridge between Enterprise Architecture and IT delivery teams, aligning solutions with enterprise standards and domain target architectures.
- Contribute to the development of Solution Architecture & Software Engineering practices by providing reusable solution patterns and building blocks.
- Participate in defining domain target architectures & roadmaps based on hands-on technology & delivery experience.
- Engage in communities of practice with other solution architects and domain architects to share best practices and lessons learned.
- Improve the Solution Architecture practice through active contributions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience in roles such as developer, functional consultant, and solution architect.
- Experience implementing applications as a solution architect or functional consultant.
- Understanding of the Risk and Compliance processes and related regulatory environments within the Services industry.
- Proven track record as an end-to-end solution architect on large-scale transformation projects in large & complex organizations.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and problems, providing global & pragmatic recommendations with minimal guidance.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create strategic position papers and Reference Architectures, as well as address technical implementation challenges.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of post-trade market infrastructures (e.g., CSD) and Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, IAF, OAA) is highly desirable.
Language Proficiency:
- A strong command of English is required.
