Service description:
The client is looking for an Azure DevOps Architect to design, implement, and oversee modern DevOps solutions within our Azure Cloud environment. This role emphasizes scalability, automation, and security in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud-native architectures, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Architect and implement end-to-end DevOps solutions, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment processes.
- Develop and enforce best practices for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible (Biceps), with a focus on scalability, security, and compliance.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to incorporate security, performance testing, and governance (DevSecOps principles).
- Collaborate with developers, IT operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and automation across environments.
- Manage and improve role-based access control (RBAC), identity management, and policies for DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub).
- Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and costs of DevOps platforms and cloud infrastructure.
- Integrate Azure DevOps with third-party tools and platforms to enhance development workflows.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams regarding DevOps practices and tools.
- Stay updated on Azure features and DevOps trends, recommending tools and processes to improve efficiency.
- Support governance efforts, ensuring that DevOps practices comply with frameworks like the Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark and internal policies.
Requirements:
Technical Skills
- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including YAML-based workflows.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
- Expertise in Azure-native services (e.g., App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions) and integration into DevOps workflows.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices and tools for integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies for collaborative development.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation tasks.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) in Azure.
- Strong background in identity and access management with Entra ID integration into DevOps workflows.
Non-Technical Skills
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French, Dutch, and/or German is a plus).

- Location: Primary location is Brussels and Namur, with the option to work from home up to three days a week.
