Full-Stack Quality Engineer

For a client, we are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality across various levels of testing, including manual and automated processes. The successful candidate will be instrumental in aligning testing strategies, centralizing automation efforts, and fostering collaboration across teams.

Project Duration: Start in January 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multiple teams to align testing efforts and ensure consistency across testing strategies.
• Create and maintain a common automation codebase with inter-sharable test artifacts.
• Act as a liaison between development, product owners, and Program Quality Lead to improve quality standards and streamline testing activities.
• Conduct manual testing across front-end, back-end, API, and data layers, ensuring thorough validation of business scenarios and functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright and Cucumber in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Implement and manage API test automation frameworks for both mocked and end-to-end testing, including REST and GraphQL.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans, strategies, and reusable components.
• Communicate test coverage, risks, and gaps effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance/testing roles.
• Extensive experience with manual testing and automated testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of API testing tools and techniques, including experience with GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Proven ability to maintain a centralized automation codebase.
• Comfortable working in Agile methodologies and dynamic environments.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
