For a client we are seeking a Senior Network Engineer

Duration: 12 months
Work Schedule: On-site 3 days per week, Remote 2 days per week
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and configure network infrastructure solutions according to business requirements.
• Collaborate with teams to gather network requirements and propose optimal solutions.
• Monitor network performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
• Ensure network systems are highly available and operate reliably.
• Conduct network performance testing and provide recommendations for optimizations.
• Resolve network incidents and problems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Stay informed on emerging networking technologies and trends, evaluating their potential benefits.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FortiGate appliances.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, and wireless controllers.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
• Experience with tools like Visio, WireShark, iperf, etc.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking is a plus.
• Cisco certifications (CCNP) and Fortinet certifications (NSE) are a plus.
