For a client we are seeking an IT Developer - Expert

Start date: 20/12/2024
End date: 31/12/2025

Work location: Brussel
On-site requirements: Expectation of 50% on-site & 50% homeworking

Role Description:

The IT Developer will be responsible for elaborating or adapting the detailed technical design and programming code in the context of a project or asset, adhering to enterprise standards and considering required quality and performance levels. This role also includes unit testing of developed code and assistance during implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Elaborate detailed technical design.
• Develop or maintain code in the required programming language or tool, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards.
• Perform unit testing and support test management in the execution of tests, including bug fixing.
• Estimate development workload or validate estimates provided by the project or asset manager.
• Contribute to the preparation of production installation, including integration and assembly testing.
• Provide quality review of detailed design and code from external suppliers.
• Document development activities including design, coding, unit testing, and code review.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Mastery of programming languages, particularly Java, and familiarity with good practices and standards.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Scrum and an Agile mindset.
• Knowledge sharing, team success orientation, and continuous improvement approach.
• Ability to take on multiple roles within an Agile team.

Language Proficiency:

Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language (Dutch or French).
