For a client, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join a dynamic HR Data Analytics team. This role is pivotal in a major SAP transformation project, focusing on transitioning the organization from the UNV to UNX environment. The position is set to start on 01/01/2025 and will conclude on 31/12/2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration from UNV to UNX in SAP BO, ensuring efficient and accurate data handling.
- Optimize SAP BW data structures to align with the UNX framework and address challenges arising from IT and data transformation projects.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various SAP systems, including SAP HR, SAP BW, and related Oracle and SQL-based databases.
- Implement and maintain robust data pipelines, utilize MS Access and VBA coding for data integration, and perform validation and testing of data structures.
- Collaborate with IT, HR Analytics, and business teams to align the transformation project with organizational goals.
- Provide training and operational support to stakeholders on the UNX environment.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the transformation, identifying potential errors and reporting them to the data hub.
- Gather and translate business requirements into efficient data engineering solutions.
- Support the development and optimization of SAP BO reports and ensure compatibility with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience with SAP BW, SAP BO, UNV/UNX transformation, SAS EG, Oracle, SQL.
Desired Skills and Certifications:
- Certifications in Power BI, SAP, SAS EG, or related technologies are a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP 4HANA, DAX, Python is preferable.
- Familiarity with HR data environments and HR metrics is beneficial.
