For a client, we are seeking an experienced Operations Officer in the area of Financial Security to join our team. This role is critical in identifying and mitigating operational risks within the organization.

Start Date: 24/12/2024
End Date: 30/06/2025
Work Location: Brussel
Telework Expectation: 50% on-site & 50% homeworking

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Risk Assessments to identify and evaluate process risks.
• Provide advisory services for new product development, process modifications, control simplifications or eliminations, and process digitization or robotization.
• Analyze major incidents to discuss and implement structural solutions.
• Support the acceptance process of new products or services in the "New Activity Committee" and provide relevant advice.
• Execute controls, monitor, and report on operational risks within the departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Front-end and Back-end experience with AML/KYC/Compliance processes in a banking environment.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with various IT tools.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch or French (Strong written and spoken communication skills).
• Profound knowledge of English.
