QA/QC & Hand over manager

For a client, we are seeking a QA/QC & Handover Manager

Location: Luik

Role Overview:

The QA/QC & Handover Manager will play a crucial role in the construction of a new CCGT (thermal power station), ensuring the quality management system is compliant with ISO 9001 and ISO 10005 guidelines. This position involves overseeing the project's quality assurance, documentation, technical communication, and certification processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee a quality management system that meets legal, regulatory, operational, and contractual requirements.
  • Define and enforce quality control rules, procedures, and templates at each project stage.
  • Coordinate with the main contractor's quality manager to control the QA/QC process.
  • Manage the flow of documents through the QA/QC process, ensuring all project phases are well-documented.
  • Report major deviations and ensure all non-conformities are thoroughly documented.
  • Oversee the certification process of the new power plant.
  • Manage a documentation controller for the technical communication and storage of project documentation.
  • Perform internal trainings on QA/QC objectives and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in administrative project support, particularly site-related.

Skills & Certifications:

  • Proficiency in French and English is required.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Hands-on, dynamic, and a positive team player.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of the energy sector is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • Understanding of completion strategies and methods such as Opercom/ICAPS.
