IT Support Engineer

For a client, we are seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This full-time position is based in Vlaams-Brabant, and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the European Head Office's IT support operations.

Start date is as from the 8th of January 2025

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite IT support for end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile phones.
  • Undergo comprehensive training on products, services, and support issues.
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues to master technical troubleshooting and organizational processes.
  • Contribute to process optimization and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure customer-centric support in alignment with the IT organization's standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
  • Basic hardware knowledge for troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ServiceNow for incident management is a plus.

Skills:

  • Native Dutch speaker with excellent English proficiency (both written and spoken).
  • Highly organized, action-oriented, and an attentive listener.
  • Independent worker with outstanding communication skills.
  • Open to continuous development and innovation.
  • Proactive, responsible, and resilient in the face of challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills with a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical users.

Certifications:

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).

Language Proficiency:

  • Dutch (Native)
  • English (Excellent)

Interviews will be conducted via TEAMS starting from the 8th of January 2025.
