Manage simultaneous documentation of various products, including building and running workflows to engage with engineering stakeholders across the product line organization.
Edit and deliver technically accurate documentation to facilitate the successful adoption of solutions.
Own the editorial standards for the entire documentation set, including architecture, editing, and testing.
Continuously gather information from product owners, UX designers, and engineers to produce best practices and respond to developers' needs.
Job Tasks:
Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, system documentation, installation guides, FAQs, and other support materials.
Collaborate with engineering and product management to gather information and understand documentation needs.
Edit and improve existing documentation by ensuring accuracy, clarity, consistency, and comprehensibility.
Work closely with subject matter experts to create documentation that meets user needs and supports product goals.
Use various authoring tools and software to produce documents in different formats (PDF, HTML, XML, etc.).
Maintain a documentation repository and ensure it is up-to-date with the latest product releases and updates.
Create visual aids, such as diagrams, charts, and screenshots, to enhance understanding of technical content.
Review and provide feedback on documentation created by other team members to ensure quality standards.
Stay updated on technological advancements and industry best practices in technical writing and incorporate them into documentation processes.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in content creation and copywriting within an enterprise, professional services organization, or similar practice.
Experience in technical documentation creation for software products, preferably APIs and/or SDKs.
Working knowledge of documentation tools and repositories to develop templates, manipulate output styles, tag, and manage technical content.
Experience working directly with engineers and other technical subject matter experts.
Language: English mandatory (French, Dutch, and/or German is a plus).
