Description

You will be part of a product team that primarily builds and supports web applications. The team is end-to-end responsible for creating value for partners. We are looking for someone who is willing to engage broadly, both in terms of collaboration and the technical strategy of the product. In addition to software development, you will also assist with testing and release activities. The work consists of approximately 2/3 project work and 1/3 incident or maintenance work.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Support and adapt web applications within project, maintenance, and incident operations.
• Contribute to the functional and technical design of solutions.
• Translate problems into concrete solutions.
• Write tests (unit tests) and document developments and analyses.
• Adhere to development guidelines and internal IT standards.
• Actively contribute to knowledge retention and transfer to colleagues.
• Work closely with colleagues within the product team and other stakeholders.
• Communicate with various stakeholders such as the service desk and project leaders.
• Support fellow developers in developing and seeking optimal solutions.
• Contribute to the estimation and planning of development activities.
• Strictly apply methods within the change and release management process.
• Execute and follow up on releases.
• Evaluate the technical feasibility of requests.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience with development on Azure (Azure Service Bus, API Management, Service Fabric, App Service).
• Minimum 4 years of experience with backend technologies: C#, ASP .NET.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing .NET-based applications.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL).
• Experience with Unit Testing and web developments.
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Education with certification or equivalent through experience in .NET (C#).
• Fluent in Dutch.
• Experience with web developments using HTML5, CSS, and Angular 2 or higher (minimum 4 years).
• Experience with ORM: Entity Framework.
• Familiar with process-driven organizations based on ITIL, specifically change and release processes.
