V-IT is looking for a Data Analyst for a client in Brussels.
 

1. Context of the mission / Objective(s) of the job

The candidate will work within the Program Management Department in the team Process & Organisation.

This team is in charge of all projects & tools contributing to an efficient running of the operational activities. One of our emerging challenges is managing and representing the increasing amounts of data effectively. Recently, we launched a new workflow tool that requires support with PowerBI to gather and visualize the information Operations needs to guide their teams efficiently. Additionally, we have several upcoming projects where data collection, analysis, and presentation of conclusions will be crucial for maintaining the right focus.

To succeed, working closely with Operations departments as well as with our IT colleagues is “a must”; reconciling divergent interests is a challenge.

We are looking for a Data analyst and PowerBI expert.

The main mission of the candidate will be to work on the translation of operational data into analytical models, elevate the data skills of the colleagues in the team and play a significant and advising role in the conceptualization of the data architecture.

In this context, the candidate will have to :

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions
• Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data and support decision-making
• Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular data verifications and validation
• Propose and implement initiatives to increase awareness of data analytics within the department
• Identify and implement analytics models on operational data
• Support and develop one or two people in the field
• Assist in setting up the conceptual architecture
• Apply AI solution to enhance ability to create sophisticated and insightful dashboards in Power BI,

Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data, identify outliers, group, and bin data for deeper analysis. Data Modeling: Skills in data modeling to structure data efficiently and create relationships between different tables Data Visualization: Knowing how to choose and use appropriate visualizations to represent data clearly and impactfully.
