Mission Context:

The IT Developer will be responsible for elaborating or adapting detailed technical designs and programming code in the context of a project or asset, adhering to enterprise standards and ensuring required quality and performance levels. The role involves unit testing of developed code and assisting during implementation. The primary focus will be on developing web forms in React and the new backend framework based on a cloud solution built on Spring Boot. Additionally, the developer will maintain existing Java APIs for various business lines such as Legal, Compliance, or Communications.

Responsibilities:

• Elaboration of detailed technical design.
• New development or maintenance of code in the required programming language or tool.
• Conduct unit testing.
• Estimate development workload or validate workload estimates.
• Contribute to the preparation of production installation, including integration and assembly testing.
• Support test management in executing tests and fixing bugs.
• Conduct quality reviews of detailed design and code provided by external suppliers.
• Document development activities, including design, code, unit testing, and code review.

Language Requirements:

Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language (Dutch or French).

Education:

Master’s degree or equivalent.

Telework Expectation:

Required Experience/Knowledge:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• 3 to 5 years of React experience, focusing on developing web forms and interacting with APIs.
• Proficiency in UI Testing, particularly using JEST.
• Some experience in UI/UX and UI analysis.
• 2 to 3 years of Java experience, with some experience in Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of API architecture and development, preferably in Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience with Spring 5 and Swagger definition is an asset.
• Mandatory experience with Scrum.
