Program/Project Manager Opportunity

For a client, we are seeking a Program/Project Manager.

3-5 years of experience

Responsibilities:

• Interact with the customer area within the R&D department.
• Recognize customer demands that necessitate IT projects, initiate them, and establish project governance and project teams.
• Outline, execute, and oversee IT projects from concept to production introduction, ensuring alignment with client specifications.
• Focus on quality, efficiency, cost, delivery, and security.
• Procure funding by presenting persuasive business cases based on cost/benefit analysis when necessary.

Requirements:

• Strong IT knowledge, including architecture, networks, databases, and cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies like SCRUM, Agile, and Waterfall.
• Understanding of modern IT technologies related to cloud, software development, computer systems, networks, and databases.
• Ability to coordinate problem-solving efforts in a project team, identify key issues, root causes, and develop countermeasure plans.
• Ability to report clearly to management, internal customers, and key stakeholders.

This role requires a firm understanding of IT principles and a basic comprehension of practices in research and development as well as engineering.
