For 1 of our clients, we are looking for a Security IT Architect:

As a Security Architect you play a key role in designing secure IT infrastructure and application landscapes. Your decisions provide the framework for analysts and developers to operate and innovate, while maintaining security. Together with your colleagues Security Architect you also ensure the continuous evolution of the security reference architecture and provide a framework for fellow architects.

What do you do as a Security Architect?

• Design Secure IT Solutions: You design IT solutions that meet the functional, non-functional, and security requirements of the organization. You successfully transform business requirements into well-defined and secure solutions, which align with industry best practices, as well as the enterprise IT and security reference architecture.
• Develop Application Landscape: You help build our application landscape, including on-premises and cloud applications, packaged solutions, and in-house development, with a focus on security.
• Maintain Security Architecture: You elaborate, maintain, and govern the security reference architecture, ensuring it evolves with general IT and security trends.
• Monitor Realisation: You monitor the realisation of the solutions you have designed, ensuring they meet the intended security outcomes.
• Document Decisions: You effectively document architecture and security decisions, providing the necessary rationalizations.
• Governance Participation: You contribute to architecture and security governance by participating in necessary governance activities and review boards.
• Risk Assessment: You perform risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
• Security Representation: You represent security architecture in business projects, identifying IT risks early and collaborating with project teams to design required security levels.
• First Point of Contact: You function as the first point of contact for all security-related architectural questions.

Profile:

• Knowledge and Experience: You have a master's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years as an IT Architect and 3 years in Security Architecture.
  Expertise in areas within one or more of these fields is mandatory.
  • Application & Data Security,
  • Cloud Security,
  • Public Key Infrastructure,
  • Identity & Access Management,
  • Network, Infra & Endpoint Security, and
  • SOC Operations & Reporting is mandatory.

Knowledge of EA modelling languages and frameworks, such as ArchiMate and TOGAF, is a plus.

• Expert Author: You produce high-quality artifacts that adhere to industry and organizational best practices.
• Language Skills: You speak English (Dutch or French is a plus), allowing you to communicate easily with everyone, including colleagues in India.
