Opportunity: Senior Application Architect

Location: Brussels

Work Regime: 2 days on-site per week, 3 days remote work

Language Requirements: Dutch and French 

Start Date: As soon as possible

End Date: 31/12/2029

Working Hours: Full-time

 

We are looking for an experienced Java - Angular architect to work as part of our development team, taking on assignments from customers.
We expect the candidate not only to be technically proficient, but also to have proven experience in managing a group of Java developers, in defining and distributing their tasks, and in organizing code review activities.
The candidate must also demonstrate excellent skills at various levels:
- abstraction skills, so as to be able to propose solutions for improving an existing application, as well as to design an architecture for new developments
- understanding business needs and defining a coherent architectural vision for all the business domains covered
- integration into an existing team.
Candidates must also be proficient in the following technologies:
- Java EE - 10 years' experience
- RDBMS - SQL - JPA - 10 years' experience
- WS REST - 8 years' experience
- oAuth security - 3 years' experience
- Angular - 5 years' experience
- Spring - 5 years' experience

The language regime can be French or Dutch, but a minimum knowledge of the second national language is required.
