DevOps Coach (Expert)

For a client in Antwerp, we are looking for a DevOps Coach (expert).

Description and Tasks:

We are seeking a DevOps Expert who can assist in building and implementing DevOps processes and competencies within the organization. The assignment begins with conducting a gap analysis and creating a roadmap to successfully migrate a domain. Upon approval, the expert is responsible for implementing the roadmap. This roadmap is part of a general framework for simplifying the landscape, where teams take more responsibility around DevOps.

What You Will Do:

• Technical Guidance: Provide coaching and guidance to development and operational teams to effectively apply DevOps principles and practices.
• Process Optimization: Analyze existing workflows and processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Represent both the DevOps teams and the Enabling teams.
• Best Practices: Introduce and promote best practices in continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and release management.
• Technical Training and Workshops: Develop and deliver technical training and workshops to help teams develop and improve DevOps skills.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in the DevOps world and apply this knowledge to renew and improve processes.

Profile:

• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Grafana, Jfrog, SonarCloud, Terraform, and cloud platforms (focus on Azure).
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders, from developers to management.
• Problem-Solving Ability: An analytical mind and a solution-oriented approach to tackling technical and operational challenges.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (such as Azure, Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator) are a plus.

Required Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a DevOps role with proven experience in coaching and implementing DevOps practices.
