Description
In 2025, there is a need to refactor and modernize a portfolio of applications. This involves removing technical debt from current applications by upgrading them technically and decomposing large monolithic applications into capabilities, followed by refactoring them into a modern cloud-based and data-centric architecture.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate architecture decomposition initiatives between different teams (business, architecture, etc.).
- Coordinate IT projects, including launching and monitoring projects, achieving implementation plans, and following up on scope, budget, and schedule.
- Monitor resources, issues, risks, and produce project-related documentation.
- Follow and coordinate functional and technical architecture decomposition based on in-house developments.
- Manage and follow multiple implementation teams provided by development software teams (.NET/JAVA developers & architects).
- Validate the test strategy and quality approach with Q&A chapters and follow up during the execution phase.
- Organize and coordinate the deployment of IT solutions in acceptance and production environments in collaboration with IT infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager of IT projects.
- Relevant experience in modern decomposition cloud-based, data-centric IT architecture approach, including using DDD and microservices.
- Experience in an international company context.
- Ability to communicate easily with developers/architects on technical matters.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Analytical mind and good organizational skills.
- Customer-driven, good communicator, facilitator, and team player.
- Ability to integrate market products into existing application architecture (via web services, a communication bus, a common data model, etc.).
Languages
- Fluent in English and either French or Dutch, with a sound grasp of the other language.
- German knowledge is a plus.
