Job Description:

We are looking for a Tribe Test Engineer who will be accountable for the Agile testing strategy, including both functional and non-functional testing. The role requires ensuring quality gates at release and collaborating with other Tribe Test Engineers to manage dependencies. The candidate will coordinate testing across squads for integration testing, define environment needs, and support squads in testing activities. Additionally, the role involves defining a test automation roadmap and maintaining test data governance.

Goals & Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the Agile testing strategy.
• Ensure quality gates at release.
• Collaborate with other Tribe Test Engineers.
• Coordinate integration testing across squads.
• Define environment needs and support squads.
• Define and plan test automation roadmap.
• Maintain test data governance.
• Contribute to problem-solving activities with a CI mindset.

Activities:

• Validate features in line with the Agile test strategy.
• Refine features and define feature-level test plans.
• Contribute to the definition of ready and done for features.
• Attend Scrum of Scrums to manage dependencies.
• Extend test coverage for the product/service.
• Review testing activities at the squad level.
• Ensure quality gates at story and feature levels.
• Report quality status and risks to Tribe leadership.
• Define a consistent automated testing strategy.
• Develop and maintain the continuous delivery pipeline.
• Test performance against non-functional requirements.
• Ensure adequate security testing.
• Assist the Tribe Release Engineer in identifying system issues.
