What will you do?

As a director of the labor market, our client aims to process and exchange labor market data. The organization strives to set up personalized services for every citizen. The landscape of collaborating companies and organizations is becoming increasingly complex and diverse. To manage this, smart systems based on data and AI need to be established. We are looking for a new employee who can support the team of data scientists in automating data pipelines and bringing models and applications into production.

Some of your responsibilities:

• Design and development of data pipelines and ETL data flows in Python and (Py)Spark in a cloud environment.
• Deliver production-ready code to deploy AI models and applications.
• Provide support for unit, performance, and system testing.
• Documentation and delivery of functional and technical metadata.

Who are we looking for?

• You can independently map out the architecture of an AI solution, including all infrastructure components, data pipelines, and ETL flows, both on-premise and in the cloud.
• You are able to explain your choices to an audience with a non-technical background.
• You have a master's degree in an IT field.
• You have experience in building and leading a big data architecture.
• You have experience with the technical leadership and governance of data engineers and data scientists.
• You can collaborate well with solution architects from the big data architecture.
• Experience with data pipeline design and development, component orchestration.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Airflow, Docker, and front-end development is a plus.
• You enjoy achieving results, like to work autonomously, but also enjoy sparring with colleagues to strive for the best solutions.
• Your analytical mind ensures that you can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners (in Dutch).
