Project Manager Opportunity in the Payments Domain

For a client, we are seeking a Project Manager with expertise in the Payments domain.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the payments team to define project plans and timelines.
• Plan refinement and development/testing activities.
• Ensure effective sprint planning and activity slicing for team clarity.
• Serve as the primary contact for impediments, priority issues, and incoming requests.
• Report progress to the Product Area Lead and Program management team.
• Assess and address impediments, escalating to management with options if necessary.
• Support the risk assessment process.
• Coordinate with stakeholders impacted by changes, manage quarterly capacity requests, and follow up.
• Participate in Program Steerco to report on payments stream progress.
• Challenge requirements to maintain realistic timelines in an agile framework.
• Monitor budget and capacity allocation.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong proven experience in project management within the Payments domain and digital projects.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
• Customer-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle technical concepts such as APIs, IT architecture, and dependencies.
• Capable of proposing team agreements on roles and responsibilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and excellent internal communication skills.
• Autonomous with a focus on continuous alignment with the team, management, and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the Multi Banking platform landscape in Belgium is a plus.
