For a client in Mechelen, we are seeking a Tech Lead with expertise in Java/Angular for a long-term project. This is a full-time position with 60% remote work.
 

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership to one or multiple squads, aligning technical solutions with strategic business objectives.
• Define technology implementation based on industry best practices, focusing on code quality and reducing technical debt.
• Guide the software delivery community on technical designs and support high-level architecture refinement.
• Advocate best practices for reuse and quality standards within the technical domain.
• Deliver high-level technical designs, maintain deep technical knowledge, and share insights with the developer community.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture to define application architecture for new applications.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 8 years of experience in development, with the last 3 years in a senior development role.
• Strong theoretical background in software development practices.
• Deep technical knowledge in at least one area of development (e.g., programming language, CI/CD, infrastructure, product stack).
• Necessary certifications relevant to the area of development (e.g., LSA certification in Pega).
• Strong analytical skills and experience in design thinking.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
• Familiarity with other technologies within the same ecosystem.
• Experience in telecommunications or comparable domains.
