Job Opportunity: System Engineer/On Site Support

Location: Antwerpen

Responsibilities:

• Guide small to medium automation projects within the industrial IT infrastructure and integration of automated production systems with overarching systems.
• Configure switches and thin clients, patch networks, and design data cabinets.
• Excellent communication of actions and proposals to the team, followed by thorough documentation.

Profile:

• Master's or bachelor's degree in electronics, IT, or electromechanics (automation).
• Strong in teamwork with good communicative and social skills.
• Driven and able to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Analytical insight and strong in identifying causes of problems.
• Hands-on mentality and able to respond ad-hoc to unexpected situations.
• Stress-resistant and able to work with deadlines.
• Helicopter view.
• Excellent knowledge of virtualization software (VMWare).

Important: The candidate must be willing to work full-time onsite for the first year, preferably someone who does not live too far away.
