Product Owner

For a client, we are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join a dynamic team focused on enhancing customer servicing and efficiency. The role involves working within a Fraud squad to deliver solutions that support remote contact interactions, automate processes, and enhance fraud detection and prevention.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with business clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee the intake of new cases, clarify high-level needs, and draft key functional specifications in collaboration with experts.
• Participate in technical and functional discussions as needed.
• Build and prioritize the product and squad backlog, and communicate priorities to the squad.
• Assist the squad with refinement activities to enable autonomous progress.
• Develop and communicate the product strategy within the scope.
• Collaborate closely with the squad scrum master for delivery follow-up and facilitation.
• Monitor progress on prioritized items through agile ceremonies and update stakeholders.
• Align with the Fraud and other stakeholders on strategy and best practices.
• Manage communication to stakeholders and mitigate potential conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with legal, risk, and group guidelines in solution design and delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Product Ownership and Fraud.
• Strong knowledge of fraud activities.
• Expertise in agile methodologies and solid experience as a Product Owner.
• Ability to participate in technical and functional discussions.
• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Certification in Agile or project management is preferred.
