Role Description

We are looking for two Application Specialists to join a Product Journey Tribe. Each specialist will be dedicated to one of the following teams:

Inhome Team

The Application Specialist for the Inhome team will focus on the appointment journey for in-home services, ensuring network quality and service activation. This role requires close collaboration with architects, business and process analysts, and IT delivery partners to design and implement reliable and scalable solutions. You will be supported by the PO and senior peers.

Network Field Assurance (NFA) Team

The Application Specialist for the NFA team will focus on the appointment journey for outdoor installations, ensuring network quality and service activation. This role also involves close collaboration with architects, business and process analysts, and IT delivery partners to design and implement reliable and scalable solutions. You will be supported by the PO and senior peers.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements. Challenge and ensure completeness of requirements for sustainable IT solutions.
• Work with software architects to develop and share overall solution designs. Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure end-to-end solution alignment.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore analysts, developers, and testers. Ensure scope preservation and detailed, consistent requirements at the “epic” level. Challenge IT delivery partners to design and implement sustainable solutions.
• Maintain IT processes, documentation, and knowledge management.
• Provide accurate capacity and effort assessments for informed decision-making.
• Monitor and optimize application quality, consistency, and scalability. Propose improvements and support prioritization.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an IT environment, preferably in a telco or utility company.
• Strong analytical skills, conceptual thinking, and realism.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to different interlocutors.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Functional analysis and design.
• Experience with agile methodologies and understanding of EPICs.
• Ability to design interfaces between applications.
• Pragmatic and critical mindset.

Nice to Have Skills

• Background as a developer/software engineer.
• Knowledge of telecom products or experience within a telco environment.
• Experience with specific tools/suites like Netcracker.
