Network Administrator Opportunity

About the Role:

You will be responsible for managing the central servers, the internal company network, and external connections. The goal is to contribute to the proper functioning, availability, security, and support of the server and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor data centers and the company network to ensure the availability and performance of servers and network equipment.
• Install and configure servers, network equipment, operating systems, system software, and cloud platforms to meet the company's needs.
• Secure the central servers, internal company network, and external connections to preemptively address threats.
• Analyze and resolve server, network, and platform-related issues to restore and improve the operation of central servers and the network.
• Configure and monitor backups and replication mechanisms for user files, databases, and system settings to quickly restore these data in case of loss or damage.
• Formulate proposals to optimize the ICT infrastructure to meet current and future needs.
• Keep documentation regarding servers and network equipment up-to-date to maintain a complete and accurate overview of all components within this infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Advanced, up-to-date knowledge of operating systems, system software, data communication, and network security.
• Advanced, up-to-date knowledge of management and monitoring tools for servers, network equipment, and firewalls.
• Experience in one or more of the following domains is a plus.
