For a client, we are seeking a skilled Scrum Master.

Mission Context
The Scrum Master is a pivotal role in projects utilizing the Scrum methodology. The individual will ensure the team comprehends and effectively applies the methodology, maximizing project outcomes while shielding the team from distractions. The Scrum Master will coach the Project Team, business lines, and stakeholders on beneficial interactions.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings.
- Schedule and monitor key steps of the methodology.
- Ensure smooth application of the Scrum methodology and assist the Project Team in overcoming obstacles.
- Support the Product Owner with the Product Backlog.
- Assist the team in delivering the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, etc.
- Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress.
Project Methodology and Coaching
- Coach and challenge the Project Team.
- Promote self-organization and remove barriers to team effectiveness.
- Act as an ambassador of agile methods.
- Report on the deployment of the Scrum methodology within projects.
- Manage risks and issues.
Language Requirements
- Dutch: Good knowledge
- French: Good knowledge
- English: Sound knowledge
Education and Telework Expectation
50% on-site & 50% homeworking.
Agile Requirements
Agile teams are cross-functional, with members expected to contribute across disciplines.
Required Experience/Knowledge
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g., Jira).
- Understanding of automated unit testing, functional testing, and continuous integration tooling.
- Sound knowledge of software development and project management methodologies.
Business Experience
Expert knowledge of agile methodology and techniques (e.g., Kanban) is preferable.
