Overview:
We are looking for a Junior and a Senior Data Analyst to join a program focused on the energy transition. This initiative aims to address environmental and technological challenges, particularly through a Smart Grid sub-program. The program involves implementing solutions to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of power grids, with projects varying in scope and methodology (agile, waterfall, POC R&D). The role is crucial for ensuring data quality, which is essential for the success of new Smart Grid software applications.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively detect data quality issues.
- Propose resolution suggestions.
- Conduct root cause analysis to understand data quality problems.
- Train data producers in data quality management best practices.
- Assist the data governance team in fostering a data quality culture.
Junior Data Analyst Requirements:
- Ability to understand business challenges and data connections.
- Document quality rules, results, and track discrepancies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for data issues.
- Propose solutions for data problems.
- Knowledge of data quality dimensions.
- Experience in data profiling and analysis.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Interest in technological advancements in data quality management.
- Ability to communicate and work independently with various stakeholders.
- Experience with data profiling libraries like Soda or Great Expectations is a plus.
- Experience with SAP ECC or S4/HANA and SAP SAC Analytics is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
- Experience in the energy sector is a plus.
- French language proficiency at C1 level.
- University degree or equivalent in IT, data, or related fields.
- Commitment to the urgency and importance of the energy transition.
Senior Data Analyst Requirements:
- Experience in a Data Analyst role (3 to 5 years).
- Ability to understand business challenges and data connections.
- Document quality rules, results, and track discrepancies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for data issues.
- Propose solutions for data problems.
- Knowledge of data quality dimensions.
- Experience in data profiling and analysis.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
