Job Description:

We are looking for a solution architect with experience in the (I)OT domain. The solution architect determines the right solution based on captured business drivers and needs, both technically, functionally, organizationally, and in terms of service delivery. The architect can work independently and build a network and support within the organization.

Context:

Digitalization continues in all branches: for electricity and gas, but also in public lighting, sewage, and heating. More and more sensors and actuators are being installed that provide information/data to the OT domain (SCADA) and IT for analysis and action. The solution architect will guide the transition from the classic setup to a modern architecture.

Skills and Experience:

Specific Skills:

• Proven experience in determining (I)oT architecture (Medior, 3 years) - Must have
• Proven experience with Cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure (Medior, 3 years) - Must have
• Proven experience in Security & Privacy - Should have
• Proven experience with innovation processes (POC, POV, ...) up to and including industrialization of solutions - Should have

Sector Knowledge:

• Proven experience in a similar business context - Must have
• Proven experience in the Belgian energy sector - Should have

General Skills:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect (Senior, 5 years) - Must have
• Proven knowledge and experience of Modeling techniques (Archimate, Togaf, UML, Sparx EA) - Must have

Language Requirement:

Dutch at European CEFR level C2 - Must have
