Project Leader IT Systems Integration

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our IT Integration Team, responsible for executing a variety of projects that enhance our IT architecture. The focus is on system integration using Tibco BusinessWorks Middleware to efficiently connect complex IT landscapes. In this role, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead a team using the agile/scrum methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and follow up on projects within a middleware integration environment.
• Lead multiple IT integration projects simultaneously, ensuring structured and efficient execution according to the agile methodology.
• Collaborate closely with various IT teams and business stakeholders to implement integration solutions.
• Monitor the boundary between the responsibilities of the integration team and other teams, ensuring clear communication and adherence.
• Communicate clearly and timely to all parties involved, monitoring project progress in terms of scope, budget, and planning.
• Anticipate potential risks and develop preventive solutions.
• Guide and manage a team through scrum call meetings.

Functional and Technical Skills:

• A master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, with at least 3 years in a system integration or middleware environment.
• In-depth knowledge of agile/scrum methodology and experience as a Scrum Master.
• Ability to coach and guide teams in both project management and scrum approach.
• Basic knowledge of IT integration such as API management, REST, SOAP, transcoding, data transformation, Event-driven, Asynchronous, and Synchronous Integration.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT architecture and integration principles.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and stress-resistant.
• Both strategically and operationally oriented, with attention to detail and a helicopter view.
• Team player with a constructive and solution-oriented mindset.

Language Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of English is essential.
• Active knowledge of Dutch or French, with passive knowledge of the other language.

Bonus:

• Experience as an IT Project Manager within the insurance sector.
• Experience with complex IT transformations and legacy migrations.
• Knowledge of message brokers, ESB solutions, and event-driven architecture.

Availability: You should be available on short notice.

Experience Level: Senior, 9 - 15 years of experience.
