Opportunity: IT and Cyber Control & Compliance Officer

Role Description

The IT and Cyber Control & Compliance Officer will be part of a team that supports IT and Business Units in defining, implementing, and maintaining an IT and Information Security Management System. The role involves developing and implementing IT and Cyber controls to mitigate ICT risks and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain ICT controls with a focus on regulatory compliance.
• Ensure the deployment of ICT controls through analysis, identification, and design.
• Coordinate and monitor the execution of ICT controls.
• Assure the quality and adequacy of provided evidence.
• Test the effectiveness of controls and advise on remediation.
• Report results of ICT controls to management and stakeholders.
• Follow up on remediation actions related to controls.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of processes and procedures.

Language Requirements

• Dutch: Good speaking and writing (optional)
• French: Fluent speaking and writing (mandatory)
• English: Fluent speaking and writing (mandatory)

Education

• Master’s degree in IT, science, or engineering with a strong ICT control background, or equivalent experience.
• Audit certification in ICT Audit/ICT controls is preferred.

Certifications

• Preferable: ISO27k series, CISA, CISSP.

Experience and Knowledge

• At least 5 years of experience in Information Security and IT Process Controls management.
• Mandatory 5 years of experience in IT and Security controls.
• Knowledge of IT/Security procedures and standards.
• Experience in metrics definition and dashboarding.
• Experience in designing and implementing ICT process controls.
• Skills in coordination and collaboration with different teams and external resources.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, ISO/IEC standards, and laws.
• Preferable project management/coordination skills.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology.

Business Experience

• Ability to understand end-to-end ICT process flows and control needs.
• Ability to explain the importance of ICT needs/controls to business.
• Experience in drafting reports and memos for senior management.
• Preferable experience in a banking environment.

Soft Skills
