We are currently looking for an IT Team Lead / Application Project Manager with expertise in Corporate Banking to oversee the Rapid Application Delivery (RAD) team. This team plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality IT solutions that support business needs and evolving IT requirements. The RAD team is actively involved in:

• Developing new IT solutions (applications, tools, etc.)
• Maintaining the existing IT landscape
• Providing third-line technical support for incidents and problems related to local applications

The IT Team Lead will manage a team of 4 developers in Brussels and supervise the work and priorities of an extended team of 6 developers in Lisbon.

Your Role & Responsibilities

In this position, you will take on three key roles:

1. People Manager

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the RAD team
• Act as the key representative of RAD to senior management
• Motivate and develop team members, fostering their professional growth
• Encourage an open feedback culture and implement continuous performance evaluations
• Manage external consultant contracts based on project needs
• Promote a collaborative team environment and enhance team cohesion

2. Project Manager

• Oversee 35 active applications used across different business lines
• Manage and prioritize business demands effectively
• Track and manage the budget for multiple applications and business lines
• Prepare and participate in management and prioritization meetings

3. Security Expert

• Ensure adherence to technological standards and security protocols
• Follow the organization's secured development processes
• Complete IT control plans and support internal & external audits

Required Skills & Experience

Education & Experience

Academic background in Economics, IT, or related Sciences
3-5 years of experience in a relevant IT leadership role

Technical Skills

✔ Strong knowledge of both Java and .NET development environments
✔ Experience working with financial products within a dealing room environment
✔ Understanding of banking security standards and IT compliance
✔ Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize based on business needs and budget
