Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer within the team, you are responsible for the development of a modern cloud platform according to the principles of DevOps and Platform Engineering. You support the migration of an existing private cloud environment to a public cloud offering based on Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Developing and scaling the infrastructure of the data platform.
- Automating releases on different environments.
- Monitoring the health of the infrastructure and applications.
- Developing modern IaC and GitOps based Azure landing zones.
- Supporting application teams in migrating to the new environment.
- Taking actions to ensure the reliability of the platform and systems.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in automating CI/CD processes (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Github Actions).
- Experience managing a container orchestration system (OpenShift, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or AWS Elastic Kubernetes (EKS) Service).
- Experience managing IT infrastructure via Infrastructure-As-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi).
- Proven experience in Agile & DevOps culture (minimum 3 years).
- Experience managing a Microsoft Azure environment (minimum 3 years).
- Proven experience in the development of based applications (minimum 3 years).
- Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2.
Desired Skills
- Experience in Linux system administration.
- Experience with Hashicorp Vault.
- Experience in automating DevOps tasks in Golang (minimum 1 year).
