For a client in Brussels, we are seeking an ERP Consultant.

Position Overview:

The ERP Consultant will serve as the internal consultant for ERP systems, with a focus on Business Central, and will be responsible for one or more functional areas. This role involves translating business requirements into ERP solutions, optimizing business processes, and ensuring the ERP system adds value to the organization. We are currently looking for someone with experience in the functional domain of Plant/Logistics and an interest in solution architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Requirements Translation: Translate business requirements into ERP functionality. Assist consultants in your functional domains. Configure ERP within your functional domain and maintain configuration tables.
• Planning and Coordination: Define and agree on planning and actions with the PM and SME. Ensure cross-functional domain integration and define cross-functional data topics.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Set up and execute functional unit testing for assigned domains. Conduct end-to-end testing and ensure all agreed To Be functionality is delivered.
• Consultation and Support: Act as an internal consultant for assigned functional areas. Guide, coach, and assist SMEs within your functional areas and train them on ERP tool usage.
• Process Optimization: Identify and escalate deviations from the To Be Model or industry best practices. Assist in optimizing business processes within assigned functional areas.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document reporting requirements for assigned domains. Evaluate data quality for migration and upload data to the correct tables.
• Training and Workshops: Assist in creating training material and support the training coordinator. Organize internal workshops with SMEs to model business processes.
• Integration and Implementation: Support the integration of different processes and document work procedures. Ensure the To Be system landscape is correctly implemented.
• Development and Go-Live: Develop functional user stories based on business requirements. Participate in go-live and hyper care activities.
• Stakeholder Management: Define master data requirements and promote standard ERP setup. Report on open actions, planned activities, and challenges.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Business Central.
• Experience in translating business requirements into ERP solutions.
• Excellent understanding of business processes and functional requirements.
• Ability to guide and support SMEs and LPOs.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Experience in training and workshop facilitation.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and process optimization.
