Senior Java Developer Opportunity

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 30/06/2025, with an option for extension

Location: Brussels

Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch. Good in English/French

Description:

We are looking for a senior developer capable of working on multiple applications. The ideal candidate will not only demonstrate a high level of technical skills but also have proven experience in coaching and supervising team developers at a technical level, including technical design, mentoring, and code reviews.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 7 years of experience in Java development.
• Knowledge and understanding of Service Oriented Architecture.
• Proficiency in the following technologies:
  • Java
  • Angular
  • Spring (Boot)
  • PostgreSQL
  • REST
  • Docker
  • Git

Architectural Knowledge:

• Service Oriented Architecture
• Restful API Design

Methodologies:

• Agile
• Scrum
• Test-driven Development

Contract Details:

Initial contract confirmed until 30/06/2025, extendable by 3 or 6 months.
