Junior Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for FME streams related to asset data.
• Process, analyze, and manage large datasets using FME software and SQL.
• Collaborate in a small team to develop and implement data solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience with FME, SQL Server, and data analysis.
• Experience in optimizing databases and queries.
• Communication skills and teamwork experience.
• High analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Dutch language proficiency at CEFR level C2.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Agile working and programming languages such as Python.
• Basic knowledge of GIS and knowledge of the waterways sector.
• Experience with scripting (Shell, Perl, Python) and reporting.

Medior Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Dutch language proficiency at CEFR level C2.

• Experience with Agile working and programming languages such as Python.
• Basic knowledge of GIS and knowledge of the waterways sector.
• Experience with scripting (Shell, Perl, Python) and reporting.

General Skills:

• Strong abstraction ability and communication-oriented.
• Knowledge of business processes, specifically of the Flemish Government (after training period).
