Support business stakeholders at management level in translating their needs into concrete initiatives.
Ensure alignment between potential initiatives and the business architecture.
Translate strategic business evolutions into concrete projects.
Conduct impact analyses on processes, organization, and applications, and objectify possible solution alternatives.
Analyze the impact of phasing out ICT solutions on the business architecture.
Translate business needs into high-level IT requirements to be further detailed by functional analysts.
Prepare documentation for end-users, such as process descriptions and training materials.
Take on project management responsibility if the size of the project allows.
Support test teams in preparing for the acceptance of new or modified ICT applications and solutions.
Support change managers, change agents, and end-users during deliveries.
Assist in drafting SLAs/OLAs.
Train trainers in the efficient use of procedures and systems and provide data for user manuals.
Provide active post-go-live support, including identifying possible further improvements.
Build sufficient technical knowledge around the applications within your domain.
Contribute to the evolution of the business architecture.
Support the business architecture team in promoting best practices.
Stay updated on ICT and business trends through seminars and training, and gain knowledge about new technological improvements, modern analysis techniques, and the evolution of the aviation industry.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
At least 2 years of relevant experience as a business analyst with a proven track record in complex environments.
Knowledge of common ICT and business process analysis methods and in-depth knowledge of critical business processes.
Ability to think strategically and conceptually and see opportunities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with improvement proposals.
Solid knowledge of project management.
Good communication skills and ability to engage in dialogue with various stakeholders.
Pragmatic, proactive, customer- and result-oriented.
Proficiency in Dutch or French, with a good passive knowledge of the second national language and a good command of English.
Good knowledge of Geographic Information Systems.
Experience with ESRI GIS software, Safe FME software, and knowledge of CAD and BIM software.
