For a client in Brussels, we are looking for a Medior/Senior Java Developer.

Period: As soon as possible – 30/06/2025 with an option for extension

Function

As a Java Developer, your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and developing Java code according to specifications provided by the functional analyst.
• Maintaining and correcting Java code in response to incidents or change requests.
• Participating in project estimates for the technical part.
• Collaborating with the architect to define technical solutions.
• Creating and maintaining unit tests (e.g., JUnit) to ensure code quality.
• Participating in the complete documentation of the code.
• Helping the functional analyst understand the operation of automated systems.

Profile

You possess a good knowledge of the following areas:

• Mastery of Java programming languages.
• Understanding of basic object-oriented programming (OO) principles.
• Knowledge of relational databases SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server).
• Proficiency in using an IDE (e.g., IntelliJ).
• Understanding of continuous integration and deployment pipelines (Jenkins).
• Mastery of Angular Material and Spring Boot technologies.

You are capable of providing a detailed progress report, for example using a Work Breakdown Structure or a Jira Kanban board, on a regular basis. You have good communication skills, enjoy teamwork, possess analytical and logical abilities, and have a willingness for continuous learning.
