Opportunity: Risk Officer

Mission Period:

• Start Date: 01/06/2025
• Duration: 4 months (Extension possible depending on project evolution)

Location:

Brussels

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate governance, risk management, and control processes, and prepare reports for management.
• Participate in the creation of reports to help management assess risk levels.
• Support management in analyzing and monitoring risks within business lines, both operational and quantitative.

Language Requirements:

Proficiency in English, French, and Dutch.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in management, applied economics, insurance, engineering, or equivalent experience.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Mandatory:

• Strong analytical skills.
• Good writing, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a persuasive approach.
• Experience in risk management.
• Functional experience in the insurance or finance sector.

Preferable:

• Ability to work independently.
• Team player.
• Flexible.
• Experience in internal control, operational risk, and Solvency 2 / IFRS17.
