We are looking for a Senior Network Architect for a client.

Location

• Mechelen
• 3 days per week remote work possible, depending on your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement network architectures.
• Manage network projects focusing on cost, timing, coordination, planning, and estimates.
• Collaborate with teams and contribute to project-oriented work.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with a technical/engineering or business economics background.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in general business operations with application in the ICT field.
• Proven knowledge and experience in networks and infrastructure.
• Experience with project management facets.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Architecturally conceptually skilled and experienced.

Desired Skills and Certifications

• Proven knowledge and experience with Cisco ACI network-centric.
• Proven knowledge and experience with Checkpoint & Palo Alto firewalls.
• Cisco CCNA certified.
• Proven experience with IT-OT.
• Proven knowledge and experience with F5 LTM, F5 APM, F5 iRules.
• Cisco CCNP routing & switching certified.
• Proven experience with PRTG.

General Skills

• Proven experience as a specialist architect in a specific domain or as a senior Enterprise Architect.
• Proven knowledge and experience with modeling techniques (Archimate, Togaf, UML, Sparx EA).
• Proven knowledge and experience of business processes in general.
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2.

Broad General Knowledge of ICT Infrastructure and Networks

• Concepts and experience of Enterprise environments (private, public, or hybrid cloud, ...).
• Network Architecture patterns, best practices, and standards.
• Cisco ACI network-centric, Palo Alto, and CheckPoint Firewalls.
• Data communication and switching: WAN, LAN, WLAN, DMZ, ...
• F5, Infoblox, Cisco ISE and Wireless controllers, Brocade switch, PRTG.
• OT knowledge and experience.
