Senior Program Manager

Role Overview:

In the context of a major business transformation program, we are looking for a Senior Program Manager to reinforce the management team. As a senior manager, you will join a department of about 60 people to manage the hand-over, refactoring, or greenfield development of new business or more technical projects. You will be responsible for entire IT development projects, from the customer's request to the release of the applications. This involves all the lifecycle phases of the projects, from the definition of the mission to putting the needed applications into production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate one or more teams and monitor all project/program activities.
• Report to the Global Program Manager and the Director.
• Manage escalations and stakeholders to deliver and implement projects within planned deadlines, budget, and quality.
• Organize and lead teams to achieve defined objectives with skilled, committed, and motivated staff.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Project & Program management methodology (Prince 2), including scope, planning, risks, budget, quality, and stakeholders management.
• Familiarity with AGILE methodologies.
• Experience with Change Management.
• Ability to abstract complex material and integrate easily into an existing structure.
• Good knowledge of lean processes and process improvement.
• Experience with team management and development of personal and technical skills.
• Solution and customer-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
• Sense of responsibility and ability to learn.
• Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt communication and interaction style.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the business and development team.

Languages:

• Active knowledge of French or Dutch (understanding, speaking, writing technical documentation, reading).
• Active knowledge of English (writing documentation).

 

This is an initial contract with the potential for extension beyond 2025.
