Mission Context

The role involves ensuring the testing activity by defining the test strategy, describing test cases, executing them, and reporting on the outcomes in close collaboration with the project team.

Function Description

• Develop a comprehensive test strategy.
• Provide effort estimations and plan test activities.
• Collaborate with functional analysts and developers to define requirements and designs.
• Prepare test conditions.
• Execute test conditions and report issues.
• Automate specific test conditions.
• Provide status reporting.

Specifics for Agile Testing

• Provide and execute just-in-time test cases for the current sprint.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint review meetings.

Language Requirements

• Dutch: Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language.
• French: Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language.
• English: Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language.

Telework Expectation

50% on-site and 50% homeworking.

Required Experience/Knowledge

At least 5 years of relevant experience.

Technical Experience Mandatory

• Ability to define a testing approach, decide on test types (regression, E2E), and determine what to automate versus test manually.
• Write effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Explain the approach to backup testers and ensure correct execution.
• Possess good development skills to create an automation testing suite with readable, maintainable, and extendable code.
• Technical skills for testing, such as reading logs, using API testing tools, and creating DB queries.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and report defects.

Specific Requirement for Agile

Practical experience with Scrum.
