BI Developer
Role – Key Responsibilities:
Your main activities will include:
- Collaborating with IT divisions and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Designing, creating, and managing interactive Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Performing data analysis and translating findings into visually compelling reports.
- Integrating and transforming data from multiple sources using Power Query, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of Power BI reports for efficient data processing and quick response times.
- Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and best visualization practices.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of data sources, data models, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Supporting the department in optimizing data analysis and reporting tools.
- Providing training and support to team members on Power BI functionalities.
Required Skills:
- Technical knowledge and professional experience.
- Full fluency in English is mandatory.
- 3+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
- Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Experience in creating user-friendly, dynamic dashboards.
- Knowledge of SQL and integrating multiple data sources.
- Strong project and coordination management skills, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously with various levels of complexity.
- Strong analytical skills and data mindset, with the ability to identify actionable next steps, draw conclusions, and make recommendations concisely.
- Experience with documenting processes, controls, and best practices.
- Familiarity with technology infrastructure, software, and services commonly used in the industry.
